New tax relief for investors
According to the Ministry of Finance, business angels and investors in venture capital funds will soon be able to deduct up to 50% of their investment from annual taxable income.
The maximum limit of the tax relief is PLN 250.000,00 in a given tax year. Individual savings can reach up to 16% of the investment amount.
The new tax relief for investors supporting innovative Polish companies presented in the "Polish Deal" program was prepared by the Ministry of Finance in cooperation with PFR Ventures. There are also plans to extend the already existing relief for VC funds operating in the form of Alternative Investment Companies. Detailed information on this topic will be provided soon.
